For my first try, I didn't suck which makes me very happy.
I only bought two colors of glitter, brown and red, so I got out my nail polish to get more of a variety. I think I want to try this again with bigger pieces of glass, and more glitter colors.
Actually I'll skip the loose glitter altogether and just buy cheap glitter nail polish. There is glitter everywhere. These magnets took about an hour to make, and I'll be cleaning up for about three. Tomorrow.
What I learned:
What I learned:
- too much Mod Podge = dries white, not clear
- cheap glitter nail polish is much better than loose glitter
- use hefty big magnets that are more practical, and have a bigger surface to stay adhered
- use super glue or E6000 and nail polish and skip Mod Podge altogether = much faster drying time
