My Blackberry Curve

Yeah it's been out a couple of years, but it's my new toy and I wuv it. It's super light, works flawlessly with Facebook and gathering all my online emails (gmail, hotmail, yahoo)but what I am absolutely geeky in love with, is the wireless updates it does with gmail's calendar (which effing rocks) and gmail's contacts. Wirelessly. SCHWEET.

If you haven't tried out Google's calendar, take a look. What I love is the many layers of calendars you can have on one view. You can set up alerts at intervals you choose, to text or email you to remind you of an appointment. As far as I can tell, you can set up endless alerts too, like two weeks before, one week before, one day, one hour, one minute. I use the hell out of the alerts to remember when to give Moxie her pills, which is every three days. Try remembering that without help.

Back in my groove at work finally. It takes awhile after vacation(s) for me to find my rhythym, but I'm baaaack. Yeah. Now if I could get back in my running groove. Moxie has been very patient with me.

Where to start!

My normally uneventful life has been pretty packed lately with fun things. I went to Burning Man this year, diva style (in a camper with A/C, queen bed, shower, and full kitchen) It was so fun, but I didn't take a lot of pictures. I wanted to participate, not record the event. There's a few shots in my Summer 2009 album on Picasa Web. Lots of photos will be showing up now from the event, that are far better than what I would have been able to take.

Next week, I'm off to Montana to see my Mom and hang out for a few days.

I got a nice promotion at work a couple of weeks ago, and I was completely thrilled when I heard the news. My boss totally went to the mats for me to get it, and I can't believe I didn't even have to fight for this myself. All my other promotions I had to do major work since government can be full of red tape. Ya think?!

Today, I'm off to the Gem Show with my sweetie, and then maybe to the driving range. I have a golf lesson on Monday.

Lately I've been obsessed with yet another new phone. I have switched to Verizon and am playing with my new Blackberry. SCHWEET.
